Safe Spaces is an empowerment program for girls and young women in the Eastland Slums of Nairobi Kenya.

Established in 2008, Safe Spaces offers academic scholarships for primary, secondary school and university. Vocational programs include: auto mechanics and computer literacy. Empowerment programs include: Reproductive Health & Hygiene, Basketball, Sports, Dance, Yoga and Culture. Peer educator program builds confidence as girls learn to share their skills with others. Community outreach to teachers, parents, and local leaders ensure girls receive the support they need as they take their place as community leaders.

Today, Safe Spaces reaches more than 1200 girls and young women.

Tomorrow, with your help, even more.
